I am a proud Boise native and feel honored to work in the community that has given me so much life. I live and breathe eating disorder recovery and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). With a been there, done that mentality, I strive to practice radical genuineness in my life and work.
I do this work because I believe in it, and I believe recovery is real; humans deserve to feel at peace. I feel drawn to a focus in marginalized communities and aim to remove barriers to care in rural areas, lower socioeconomic classes and other vulnerable groups. I know suffering does not exist within constructs, and believe everyone is capable of recovery.
Because I know personal experience is not enough, I have sought training and mentorship from experts in diverse disciplines and in all levels of eating disorder and crisis intervention care. I hold a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and have completed the highest level of training in DBT. I continue to train and consult as a member of a DBT team.
Humans are resilient and I am humbled to witness the beauty of our collective strength. Thanks for having me on your journey!
